Hunter Shafer
Head Coach - Eric Elliott Head Coach - Eric Elliott. Eric joins the RBAC Dive Team after spending the past year with the Mission Viejo Natadores, where he was a JO Coach as well as their Head Strength and Conditioning coach. Prior to that, he served for nine years as the Head Women's Diving Coach at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas, while also running the Jayhawk Diving Club. In addition to serving as Head Coach at Kansas, his collegiate coaching experience has been gained at the University of Georgia, Virginia Tech, Old Dominion University and the University of Louisiana, Monroe. His Age Group coaching experience, in addition to Mission Viejo and Jayhawk Diving, includes serving as the Head Age Group Coach of the Georgia Diving Club, based at the Universoty of Georgia, in Athens, GA. He currently resides in Carson, California.


Assistant Coach - Isabell Saakian Isabell was a diver in her native Armenia from the age of 7 until she was 16.At 13 she already had her Master Sport CCCR. After receiving her degree in Physical Education and Sports from the Armenian State Institute of Physical Education, she coached diving for 10 years in her home country, then began coaching here at the Rose Bowl in 2004, as soon as she moved to California.


Dive Lessons and Development Coach - Mark Robinson Mark joined the RBAC team in May 2012 and is our Dive Lessons/Development Coach. He is responsible for our Introductory and Intermediate Dive Lessons and assists coach Bobbi with our Novice divers. 

Mark is a native New Yorker and a man of many interests including athletics, art, fitness, crossword puzzles, travel, and writing.

Pasadena is home to he and his wife of 20 years.  Mark has a BA in Finance from The Catholic University of America and an MBA from USC (sorry Bruin fans!). He is a fitness aficionado and lifelong athlete who continues to enjoy cycling, diving, swimming, and yoga. 

Mark's teaching style represents his zeal for detail and precision as well as his appreciation for courtesy, discipline, and healthy holistic living.
