Our donation and grant program is an essential part of our ability to fulfill our mission and provide scholarships, teach at-risk children to swim, offer healing warm water exercise, serve those with special needs, give kids a chance to be part of a team and employ the best coaches and instructors. Thanks to our donors, everyone, from novice to expert, is welcome to participate and benefit from all that we offer here.
In sum, the RBAC depends upon the generosity and leadership of individual donors, foundations and businesses to provide 10% of the budget.
You can help. You can be part of this most worthy effort to reach deeply into our community, providing services for children and families most-in-need, by supporting the Annual Campaign or making donations throughout the year. Every donation counts.
Make your donation by going online or by calling 626.564.0330x406. We accept Visa, Mastercard or cash, checks and other types of donations at the front desk or through the Development Office. Please make checks payable to the Rose Bowl Aquatics Center.
Currently, we are working to Take the RBAC to the Next Level, Annual Campaign 2016. Your donations will support scholarships, innovative programs, facility maintenance and over 100 hours of programming every week. You will help ensure that we have outstanding coaches, instructors, trainers and therapists and maintain the exceptional quality of the facility. Many of us depend upon amenities that make the RBAC supportive: locker and family changing rooms, equipment, a café and a pro shop. This year, we will be providing tokens of our appreciation for specific levels of financial support.
The Annual Campaign is supported by “Campaign Captains.” This year’s dedicated volunteers are:
Dive Program – Kate & Pat Amsbry
Swim Lessons – Sonia Govea & Stefan Mrakich
Dryland Fitness – Catherine Grillo
Swim Team – Shelley Beck
Community & Lap Swim – John Cloud
Therapy Programs – Cindi Cobb Master
Swim Team – Tanisha Graves
Water Fitness – Linda Jimenez & Joey McCord
Water Polo – Stacy McCullough
At the RBAC, each of us strives to Take It to the Next Level. We come to the RBAC to conquer fears, learn from the most effective instruction and coaching, thrive in a supportive community, and be the best we can be.
Thank you advance for your consideration and for making the most generous donation possible. Your donation will make a difference that counts for the health and safety of our children, our families and our community.
