Rose Bowl Aquatics CrossFit is a program utilizing all avenues of fitness to improve overall capacity in sport and day-to-day life. It is a program meant for anyone and everyone. CrossFit classes are intense, fun, and for some, competitive. The method of CrossFit is based on constantly varied, functional movement, executed at high intensity.

 

Our CrossFit program is based on a specified class schedule.  All classes last one hour, and start at the following times:

Monday through Friday:  7am, 12:30pm, 5pm

Saturdays: 10am  Olympic Weightlifting Development

CrossFit Classes The majority of our programming is run through these group classes.  They are fast, fun, and have a solid dose of friendly competition.  All workouts are scalable to any level of fitness. 

Each day will have a thorough warm up, some time addressing movements and skills, then a challenging strength and/or conditioning workout, capped off with a warm-down, and some stretching and mobility exercises. Movements are drawn from endurance sports (running, swimming, rowing, biking, etc.), gymnastics (pull-ups, push-ups, squats, muscle-ups, etc.), and weightlifting (including both the Olympic lifts and power lifts).  We frequently utilize the pools, nearby parks, and trails available to us at the RBAC making a truly unique fitness experience.

Personal Training For indivudalized training specific to your goals, see our personal training page for more info.  These services include a full assessment, workouts tailored to your needs, and nutritional counseling. You don’t have to be a member to take advantage of this opportunity.

Weightlifting Class: Saturdays at 10am We hold a workout once per week that focuses exclusively on improving strength and technique in the Olympic Lifts (snatch and clean & jerk). A perfect supplement to the conditioning work done throughout the week, we spend Saturday morning getting stronger, which will improve our performances in everything else we do in CrossFit.  This class is included in all CrossFit memberships.  
Look for more specialty classes on the schedule in the future.

CrossFit membership includes general membership to the Aquatics Center ($65 value). 

Current RBAC members can upgrade their membership to add CrossFit membership and only pay the difference. See Front Desk or call the Fitness Department at Ext. 416 for details.


Trainers Our CrossFit certified coaches lead by example and encouragement, motivating and inspiring you toward your fitness goals. Focusing on form and technique, our trainers safely guide participants toward a new healthier lifestyle. Workouts are designed for scaling to individual fitness levels, allowing participants at every level of fitness to succeed.
